Producer/ Project Manager
Instrument Producers are the eyes, ears and hands of the Agency. They set up, manage and deliver the goods on time and under budget. They own both project management and client relationship, and they are solely dedicated to the success every project. Producers must balance the needs and goals of the Client with those of the Agency. They also must be able to connect with and motivate a team to produce great work. And they must do all of this while maintaining order, schedules, budgets and a positive atmosphere around the project within the larger team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main client interface on projects, clarify strategic requirements, explain complex ideas clearly, and manage expectations
- Oversee multiple, concurrent projects and project teams, including designers, developers, quality assurance and third-party vendors.
- Lead and inspire teams by communicating a vision for the project as well as involving people at the optimal levels ensuring all deliverables are of the highest quality
- Work in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situations
- Be a passionate about delivering the best solutions, but find ways of producing them that does not jeopardize schedule and budget
- Play a dual role of client advocate and Instrument advocate
- Participate in the development of new business
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Creative or Digital Agency project management, account direction or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience running large interactive creative projects and engagements for global brands and organizations
- Excellent negotiation skills, including Statement of Work – Experience scoping large proposals or retainers, with development of project plans, schedules, staffing and budgets.
- Effective presentation and communication skills as evidenced by ability to develop presentations and speak to large audiences including senior level clients.
- Strong knowledge of web and mobile development technologies, including e-commerce, content management systems, social media, search marketing, analytics and quality assurance.
- An innate ability to motivate production teams in a smooth, organized way, promoting urgency without panic, confident direction over indecision.
