Job Description

Senior Interactive Designer


Instrument is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to help create engaging interactive sites, brand experiences and other digital media. The Senior Interaction Designer works directly with the Creative Director, creating and executing the visual design for each project. This person is responsible for delivering and maintaining the quality of design throughout all phases of the project.

Requirements

  • 5+ years agency, design experience and interactive work
  • Exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with Global Clients
  • An outstanding portfolio showcasing innovative digital concepts and creative design solutions as well as a unique point of view
  • A conceptual thinker and master of user experience with the ability to produce cutting edge creative and exceptional design work
  • Solid foundation in typography, layout, and general design
  • A passion for innovation and technology with a solid understanding of digital tools, trends, and infrastructure
  • In-depth understanding of HTML, capabilities of web browsers, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Able to function independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to lead a team and provide mentoring to junior team members is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Produce high quality design that represents the user experience as defined in functional specifications, wireframes, flow diagrams, schematics and prototypes
  • Produce project documentation and presentations for new or existing client work and pitches
  • Mentor and at time manage Production Designer(s)
