Project Overview

To welcome the arrival of one of the biggest days in sports, we created “Game Day”, in partnership with Google, to speak directly with football fans around the world about the many helpful features of Google Search.

We concepted, designed and wrote this digital playbook so that fans can have a better game day experience using Google Search’s smart results. We start with pre-game prep and finding recipes for those crucial snacks, then suggest using Google+ Circles to tune into the latest commentary from top pundits. For gametime, we give tips on how to access the score, preview the halftime show or see a rundown of the top commercials with YouTube AdBlitz. After the game, we point visitors to live post-game analysis via a Hangout with CNBC reporter Darren Rovell.

“Game Day” posted high traffic numbers throughout Super Bowl weekend with a link on the homepage of Google.com and press coverage from CNN and Mashable among other outlets.
